A wide range of soaps can be found in stores, including toilet soap, anti-bacterial soap, herbal soap, and aromatherapy soap. Additionally, there are specific soaps designed for individuals with light or dark skin. However, the soap we will be creating in this lesson is a versatile soap that can be used by people with different skin tones and types. Please follow the instructions below to make your own bathing soap. Ensure that you utilize pure and uncontaminated water for your production.

2. Soda Ash Light 125grams
3. Sodium Sulphate 200grams
4. SLS 100grams
5. Kaolin 100grams
6. PK Oil 1 liter
7. Silicate 250ml
8. Vit E 50ml
9. Glycerin 100ml
10. Tumeric 50grams
11. Lime 50ml
12. Perfume 30ml (ambiphur/cocobutter)
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Step 1: soak 250kg of caustic soda in 75cl (750ml) of pristine water and allow it to ferment for a duration of 2 days (48 hours).
STEP 2: Soak SLS 100g in 75cl (750ml) of very clean water and keep for 24 hours. (Make sure you soak your SLS 24hrs after you have soaked your caustic soda).
Step 3: Extract 60cl (600ml) from your caustic soda solution and add 125 grams of soda ash light into it. Stir thoroughly to achieve a seamless blend. The subsequent step involves adding 200g of sodium sulfate to the mixture of caustic soda and soda ash light. Stir well to ensure a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Step 4: Retrieve 50cl (500ml) from your SLS solution and combine it with your caustic soda mixture. Stir vigorously to achieve a thorough blend. Kindly adhere to the specified steps and utilize the precise measurements. This is of utmost importance.
Step 5: add 100grams of kaolin into the mixture and thoroughly mix.
Step 6: Warm up 1 liter of PK Oil in a pan or pot over heat. Do not fry the oil, just warm it for approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Once warmed, pour the oil into the mixture and stir vigorously for about 15 minutes to achieve a smooth blend.
Step 7: Integrate 250ml of silicate into the mixture and mix well.
Step 8: Blend in 50ml of Vitamin E into the mixture and stir thoroughly.
Step 9: add 100ml of glycerin with the mixture and stir until well blended.
Step 10: Add 50grams of turmeric to the mixture and stir until thoroughly blended. Ensure that your soap mixture is thoroughly blended into a smooth paste before proceeding to fill your molds. Prepare your molds and choose a suitable location for your soap to harden, whether it be silicone, wood, metal, or even plastic moulds. Carefully pour your well-blended and smooth soap paste into the molds and place them in a cool, well-ventilated room to set and harden for a period of 3-4 days. After this time, you can remove the soap from the molds and allow it to cure properly. If you wish to expedite the drying process, you can use the air conditioning method. (This is when you allow your soap to set and cure in an air conditioned room). This method can speed up the setting time to as little as 2 days, after which you can remove the soap from the molds and cure it for 3-4 weeks before use. Avoid storing your soap in a hot and poorly ventilated room, as this will prolong the hardening process and may cause water to seep out of the soap, resembling sweat.
